Realize the vision
EXPAND our mission. Not only do we want to strategically impact our homes for Christ, we want to touch our community, our state, and our world as well. There is no doubt that our church is where it is today because of the people that made a commitment years ago. Our current facilities are just one expression of those commitments! Imagine what impact our church could have now if every one of us made a similar commitment.
ENABLE our people to have more meaningful worship by connecting with God and with one another. We believe spiritual growth happens best in community and community happens best in small groups. Therefore, we are asking that 100% of those who call Gulf Beach Baptist home to make a commitment to participate in the ministries provided during and following the “Back to the Cross” journey. (Colossians 1:16; Matthew 16:24-25 NLT; Acts 2:46-47 CEV)
ENLARGE our space for worship, preschool, and children’s ministries. Our vision is for facilities that can house great ministries-ministries that connect with every unchurched person in Panama City Beach, ministries that make Panama City Beach a great place to raise a Christian family, and ministries that train and empower future generations of Kingdom workers. Our prayer is that God will use our church to bless this area-by reaching lost people (Isaiah 54: 2)
ENRICH each person’s spiritual transformation by identifying their spiritual gifts, preparing them for works of service, and leading them to maturity in Christ. We have all been blessed with gifts and talents that bring meaning and purpose to our lives when they are utilized for His purposes. Through “Back to the Cross” we are asking that every one of us consider how we might allow God to use our gifts in a greater way through the ministries here at the Church at the Beach. (Ephesians 4:11-13; 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 NLT).
