“Any person is
qualified for membership in Gulf Beach Baptist Church upon their profession of
faith in Jesus Christ as both Savior and Lord, their subsequent statement of
desire to be identified with the Church, and upon completion of an orientation
course, outlining the purpose, philosophy, and ministry of the Church. The
membership of this Church shall be comprised of persons who have given evidence
of regeneration, who have been baptized by immersion, and who have been received
by a vote of the Church. Membership is removed upon the request of the member,
on behalf of the member by a sister church of like faith, by death, or by means
as set forth in the Scripture, specifically, Matthew 18. Matters of church
discipline shall be administered by the Pastoral Staff and the Deacons.”
