Pre-School Ministry

Under the direction of Shea Johnson

The preschool department is an area where parents can feel assured that their child is not only receiving the best care possible during their time of worship, but also that their child is being exposed to the Biblical truths that God loves them and created them and that Jesus is their friend.  We provide care for infants through preschool age children for the 8:30 and 11:00 AM services as well as Bible Study classes during the 9:45 hour.  Childcare is provided for infants through twos during Sunday’s 6:00 PM service.  Songbirds, a choir for preschoolers, is held at this time for children ages three through five.  TEAMKID is provided for our preschoolers on Wednesdays from 5:45 until 7:00 PM.  Childcare is also provided during this time for our infants through twos.

A Weekday Preschool Ministry

Mission Statement

The mission of Gulf Beach Baptist Preschool is to provide a loving, nurturing, and Christian environment that will be the basis for preparing each child to develop to his/her fullest potential spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually.  We believe that preschool children learn best through developmentally appropriate practices by providing age appropriate structured activities to encourage and strengthen the whole child.  These structured activities are what we consider a child's way to learn through play that in turn will foster a desire and life-long love of learning.

Music, Worship & Arts Ministry

Our Vision and Our Mission...

To be the Music and Worship ministry our Father in heaven will use to draw all people to His Son. The Grace of God in Christ Jesus is our focus as we lead all people to know Jesus in an intimate and life changing manner. There we may worship Him in spirit and in truth, thus calling His people to join in this song of the Redeemed... equipping and helping them to use their gifts for the glory of God.

This is Our Ultimate Chief End

"to Know God and enjoy Him forever."

Our worship services are blended with a contemporary expression in using both traditional and contemporary music. We offer many worship opportunities for all ages. If you have any questions or are interested in serving in the Sanctuary Choir, Sanctuary Ensemble, Audio/Video, Arts, or Children's Music & Worship Ministry, please contact the Music office.
